Typically when you command Farmville to plow, harvest, harvest trees, etc, your cute little farmer will walk up to the place where it needs to perform that action. This can waste a lot of time. But a nifty trick is to trap your farmer within 8 hay bales so they can’t reach any part of the farm. All actions are then performed very quickly without your farmer having to walk there. Hay bales can be purchased for as little as 100 coins a piece at the Market under Decorations.
