Free Fuel Week has begun
Free fuel week has started at Farmville. To get your free fuel, you’ll need to open up the Farmville game each day of the week. You can get a total of five tanks during free fuel week. So come back each weekday for more. By logging in today, I already got my first tank.

Happy New Year
Happy New Years everyone! Farmers will be welcomed to the farm today with the ball drop and an interesting freebie. Everyone gets a free level up. If you don’t have a new years ball, supposedly you can buy it in the market. However, I wasn’t able to find it in there.
Also note that January 4th starts “Free fuel week” at Farmville. More details on that to be posted soon.

Gift opening time, gold present
Hello everyone. It’s finally time to open up those gifts under your holiday tree in farmville. There’s also a new gold gift which you should know about. If you trade in 5 farmville cash and 5 of your presents, you can get one gold gift.
I tried the gold gift three times and got one brown chicken, one gold chicken, and one lamb. I’m not too satisfied with these findings so I would not suggest spending the FV cash on it unless you really want to spend it.
One other thing you should know about the holiday tree is once you open some of your presents, you can refill the tree. Meaning if you ended up receiving more than 100 presents, those extra presents can still be opened! Don’t be stupid like me and throw the extras away!
Yellow Mystery Box
Today, Farmville introduced another limited time Yellow Mystery Box. I went ahead and spent the 16 FVCash on it and got an item that isn’t even listed in the market!
I won this lovely rock stream decoration and 400 XP.
This is a really nice decoration. Not sure if it will ever appear in the market. It’s possible this item is only available from a Mystery Box. If you have the farmville cash to spend, I suggest you get a Mystery Box. I’m willing to bet there are other rare items inside of other boxes too.
Just look at it. Ain’t it pretty? I bet it makes you jealous! It’s mine, I say. MINE!
This Mystery Box is only available for 5 days and can be purchased for 16FV cash.

More Holiday updates in Farmville
The Holiday tree has gone from a capacity of 60 to 100 gifts. Also there are special gifts that you can get. One of my neighbor farmers shared on her feed that her tree grew and there was a link to get a special gift. Be sure to check your friends’ facebook feeds for holiday tree updates and share your tree growth as well. Did you get a present other than the “Coral Present?” If so, what present did you get?
Holiday Tree 2009
An interestingly festive addition has been made to Farmville, the Holiday Tree. Each player is given a Holiday Tree for free to start and you and your friends can give each other gift boxes to be placed under this tree. Once I received 20 gift boxes, my tree grew. Below is a picture showing the first level and second level of the tree.
My best guess is that there are 2 more levels to go since the tree can hold up to 60 gifts and it upgraded itself after the first 20. I’m also guessing that some time around Christmas, we can open the gifts to see what we got. Be sure to send gifts to your friends so that you can all reach 60 gifts! I bet we’ll get a wonderful surprise of stuff on Christmas morning!
There are five different presents you can get: Green Present, Brown Present, Blue Present, Red Present, and Pink Present. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what each colored present holds in store for us!
