Today, Farmville introduced another limited time Yellow Mystery Box. I went ahead and spent the 16 FVCash on it and got an item that isn’t even listed in the market!
I won this lovely rock stream decoration and 400 XP.
This is a really nice decoration. Not sure if it will ever appear in the market. It’s possible this item is only available from a Mystery Box. If you have the farmville cash to spend, I suggest you get a Mystery Box. I’m willing to bet there are other rare items inside of other boxes too.
Just look at it. Ain’t it pretty? I bet it makes you jealous! It’s mine, I say. MINE!
This Mystery Box is only available for 5 days and can be purchased for 16FV cash.

If you mostly care about decorations for their experience value, then the mystery box might be a good deal for you.
Today, I had some extra farmville cash and thought I’d take a chance on the limited edition Holiday Mystery Box for 16 farmville cash. I ended up winning the Santa’s Workshop, which I would have never bought ordinarily because I think it’s ugly. However, this is a great deal because I ended up getting an item that would have cost 38FV Cash for only 16 FV Cash. I earned 1000 XP rather than the 2000 I would have got if I purchased the normal Santa’s Workshop but overall it’s still a good deal.
If you compare other items that cost about 16 FV cash, you’ll get anywhere from 20 to 400 XP, but I ended up with 1000XP. It’s a good deal in the end. Hopefully you will be as lucky with the Mystery Box. You never know what you’ll end up with.
The Holiday Mystery Box is only available for another four days so you better get yours quick.

We previously posted about the baby calf and the Bull required to make them. I have a little more info about the baby calfs. They do NOT turn into adult cows. They stay as babies and you collect, I think it was hair or something from them. My pink calf harvests for 80 coins. Not sure if all colored calfs are that much.
Today a baby calf was born on my farm. Check your friend’s feeds to adopt baby calfs!

The quickest way in farmville to climb levels is to buy your experience through decorations. The best experience for your money comes from the hay bale. Read on for instructions.
Buy the regular hay bale and place 144 of them in a grid like in the picture below. This will cost you 14,400 coins and gain you 720 experience points. Then just sell back all those hay bales and you’ll get 720 coins back. The 720 experience points will only end up costing you a total of 13,680 coins and 5 minutes of your time.

The Holiday tree has gone from a capacity of 60 to 100 gifts. Also there are special gifts that you can get. One of my neighbor farmers shared on her feed that her tree grew and there was a link to get a special gift. Be sure to check your friends’ facebook feeds for holiday tree updates and share your tree growth as well. Did you get a present other than the “Coral Present?” If so, what present did you get?

Farmville has added a new wandering animal to the mix, the Bull. If you adopt a Bull from a friend and you place it in your Dairy Farm, it will mate with your cows. Then the stork will come along and you’ll have baby calfs which you can place on your feed for your friends to adopt! As far as I know, you don’t get to keep the babies. You have to give them away on your feed for adoption.
This is a lot more complicated than other adoption interactions as it involves three people instead of two. Person A finding a wandering bull, Person B adopts the bull, Person B posts baby calfs to feed, and Person C gets to adopt the baby calf.
