Today, Farmville introduced another limited time Yellow Mystery Box. I went ahead and spent the 16 FVCash on it and got an item that isn’t even listed in the market!

I won this lovely rock stream decoration and 400 XP.

This is a really nice decoration. Not sure if it will ever appear in the market. It’s possible this item is only available from a Mystery Box. If you have the farmville cash to spend, I suggest you get a Mystery Box. I’m willing to bet there are other rare items inside of other boxes too.
Just look at it. Ain’t it pretty? I bet it makes you jealous! It’s mine, I say. MINE!

This Mystery Box is only available for 5 days and can be purchased for 16FV cash.

Zynga has added a new set of decorations recently.
Over the next 7 days you can buy spooky trees and hallow trees. Zynga has a neat strategy going on with limited and unique items for sale around the holidays. I’m betting this strategy will be successful in boosting sales of farmville cash. Check out the trees here:

Also new (and permanently added to the decorations market) is the topiaries collection. I’d argue that this is also Halloween related as it reminds me a lot of Edward Scissorhands.

There are some aspects of Farmville that are not entirely intuitive. Many of the things you can buy for your farm are purely for decoration (though you get experience for buying them). One of those items is the fence. At first glance, you might think that you would need fences in order to keep your live stock from running away. Especially after seeing all those messages from other farmers saying “A lonely sheep has wandered onto your farm.” But in fact, your livestock will stay right where you put them. Fences are purely for decoration and are not needed to keep your livestock from escaping.
